Ask your bank manager about Direct Deposit. Call the manager and ask the manager for their opinion on whether your should provide a firm with a written authorization that they can withdraw funds from you bank accounts whenever they want. If the manager has no opinion or just doesn’t want to answer you question, then just use some common sense. Would you give your uncle Jake an authorization to withdraw money from your checking account with no notice? I vote NO on providing a written authorization for a firm to take money out of my piggy bank. What do you think?
