How far do you think your can drive your Ford F-250 for a $25 trip charge? Some national mortgage field service firms even take a 20% discount to reduce the trip charge to only $20. Ask for more money … you are in a profit-making business … aren’t you? They need you … don’t be afraid to ask for more money.

It seems that at least one of my clients has reduced the rates this year and most others have increased the service area for inspectors without increasing rates. When I started, a 20 mile radius seemed to be the norm. Now, 25-30 miles is what they expect for the same rates. Has this been anyone else’s experience?
