ZERO Percent Discounts For Property Preservation Jobs

I have performed a lot of property preservation tasks where the discount rate was ZERO. Why was it zero? Well, the job was not in my service area. It was a little bit further out than I like to travel. The firm needed to have the job completed and they called to ask me for a favor. I explained that it would cost me more in expenses to perform the job and suggested a ZERO percent discount to help me out with covering the added expenses. Most said okay. Some would wait a few days and then call me to say okay on the ZERO percent discount. Stand you ground … ask for a ZERO percent discount on out of area jobs and rush jobs. One favor is okay … but, not favor after favor after favor. Stand you ground … ask for a ZERO percent discount.
