About 99% of all of the problems in the field services industry are in the MORTGAGE segment of the industry. It has always been that way and it will always be that way. Expect no changes! You can have great success and be happy in the field service industry. The key to success is to just simply stay out of the bad neighborhoods in the industry. The mortgage segment is the bad neighborhood in the industry.
Foreclosurepedia.org has a great grasp of the serious problems in the mortgage segment of the industry. Unfortunately the GREEDY national and regional mortgage field service firms are not going to change. The Government is not going to conduct deep multi-level audits or regulate the industry. It’s easier to just ignore the fraud and the problems. You have big greedy companies and do nothing Government officials. That is a death-spiral combination for disaster. It can only get worst.
I don’t believe the mortgage segment can be fixed. My advice is to just go to a sunny beach and stay out of the cold, wet jungle and away from the snakes in the jungle. There are very large numbers of field service representatives who know to stay away from the mortgage segment of the industry. Some have learned the hard way.
