“What’s Up?” Nancy

What’s Up? Nancy.

Banks and their national mortgage field services will ask you to break into a home and steal all of the homeowners belongings without ever making a telephone call to the homeowner to get property status. Are banks and their services stupid? A simple phone call can certainly clear up any occupied … vacant … abandoned issues. Usually the policy is no phone calls to the homeowner to verify if the property is vacant … occupied … abandoned.

Nancy had her Florida home broken into TWICE while she was at home. The bank had her current telephone number. No one from the bank called and asked her if she was living in the home and maintaining the home before a property preservation mechanic was ordered to break the locks on the front door. Nancy sued JP Morgan Chase, their servicer and the property preservation mechanic. She was provided with a six-figure settlement. A “What’s Up” telephone call would have kept everyone informed on the status of the property. Nancy would not have had to hide in a locked bathroom while talking to police and there would not have been a six-figure payout.

Don’t thing that banks and their servicers are smart. A simple “What’s Up” telephone to Nancy was all that was needed for clarification and no one could make the call and ask the question. Stupid is as stupid does.

LISTEN to the 911 call.

  1. I was recently told to drive on a property by an insurance company, to measure a house and take pictures. I told the insurance company that there are no trespassing signs all over the property.. they told me to disregard the signs and do it. i told them NO!. I no longer do work for them. I am not getting shot for what they pay.
