Many of the mortgage inspectors are seeing their business dry up fast, but they are not going to change … they are not going to seek out commercial inspections. The word “commercial” scares them. It sounds complicated. They are scared that they will be unable to perform a commercial inspection. They are scared of change … something new!
This is good news for current commercial inspectors. Any flow of new inspectors into the commercial segment will be small.
The truth is that there are many interesting 10 – 15 minute commercial inspections that are easy to perform and that pay $20 – $60 plus. But, for some reason, many inspectors just keep working for other inspectors and earn $3 an inspection. After a month, or so, they discover that their real profit is about $1.50 an inspection and that they are wearing out their vehicle while traveling through a lot of bad neighborhoods.
The roads that you travel in life are the roads that you decided to travel on. Make great decisions … avoid the crowds … be happy.
