You shall not steal is one of the Ten Commandments. In the book of Leviticus, the prohibitions of robbing and stealing are repeated in the context of loving one’s neighbor as oneself and the prohibition is expanded to include dealing falsely or fraudulently in matters of trade and negotiations. Wages owed to a hired worker are not to be withheld. Neighbors must not oppress or rob each other. Neighbors are to deal frankly with each other, protect the lives of each other, refrain from vengeance and grudges, and stand up for righteousness and justice in matters that go to court
I have heard a recent story about a MORTGAGE field services firm that is not paying their field service representatives. When you visit their website, they tell you that they love God, they love YOU and they love everyone.
This company holds out their hand and says that they are Christians. They advertise their Christian faith at their website.
But, the truth is that they are not Christians because they cheat people out of the money they owe them. Cheating people is not part of the Christian religion.
They really don’t love GOD. They don’t love YOU. They just love your money. Their words don’t make them a Christian. We can only judge their faith by their actions.
I have seen cases where a firm is veteran-owned and the owner never served a day in the military,
Don’t always believe what you see at a website. Most Christians show their faith and beliefs by their actions and not by their words.
