
I send out Valentines Day cards every year to my best customers … the customers who send me lots of higher fee inspections. I mail the cards … do NOT email the cards. The result is always more work sent my way in the months after Valentine’s Day (February 14th).
Every year I go to CVS or Walgreens after Valentine’s Day and pick up packets of cards on sale (50-75% off). I pick up about 25 cards for less than ten bucks and save them for the following year. I write “I love your business” in many places on the card and mail the cards.
Company vendor managers will love you more and send you more work as you will probably be the only inspector who sent them a Valentine’s Day card. Be sure to tell your customers how much you love their business.
