The Labor Force Participation Rate is a measure of the active portion of an economy’s labor force. The participation rate refers to the number of people who are either employed or are actively looking for work. The trend has been down int the last 15 years. In the U.S. today, only about 63% of those capable of working are actually working. This means more jobs for you and for me. The Government has so many support plans today, that for some it is better just to not look for a job. If you are above average and have some marketing skills you will get jobs.
