The above is a “FAKE” FEMA ad. It was not issued by FEMA.  FEMA says the 888 number is not legitimate and the “$2,000 a week for 90 days” claim is inaccurate.

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma will drain a lot of field service inspectors away from the low-fee Mortgage Segment. The profit on a mortgage drive-by inspection is “maybe” $1.50. The mortgage segment is dead as mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures are at a 10-year low. There is also now a 90-day moratorium on foreclosures in the areas affected by hurricanes. This further reduces the volume of inspections and foreclosures.
