Some of the national mortgage field service firms use a lot of tricks to take advantage of you. They will submit your written bid to remove 30 yards of debris to the bank for FULL payment. They will get paid in full for the 30 yards. To make a huge profit, they will do their best to reduce the amount you receive. They have no scientific way to reduce your bid. The best way is to use some fuzzy math and then say that they used a comprehensive cost estimator. If you take 30 yards and multiply that number by 2 and then take the square root of the number you will get to 7.74596669241 cubic yards of debris. Next round that up and you will get to 8 cubic yards of debris. That seems to be a good number for them and they will make a very healthy profit. Don’t work for the firms that play these games as they will always WIN and you will always LOSE. The game is called “fraud“.
