Please Help Me … I Am Tempted Daily With Huge Volumes Of $3 Mortgage Inspections

1. Recently turned down Safeguard Properties, who had a nice bit of volume of $3 inspections.. If we don’t call them out, they will never change. Refuse these opportunities so next time they come around, it will be a respectable fee.

Safeguard just left my vendor in the Saint Louis area…they decided that $2.50 was more fair than the $5.00 I had been getting…I don’t understand how they work sometimes, assigning work with many inspections due within one day, some two days, rarely if EVER do I get at least a 5 day notice…maybe them being gone is better and I can concentrate on the client that is tons more reasonable to work with, and now I have a reason to seek other clients out…

2. I think my vendor fired them. Way too unreasonable to deal with (majority of orders I got were at best 3-day turnarounds). Their clout is they typically have the most work available…

   Many properties I drive by that I did by them that were vacant are still such, but looks like no one’s touching them.

   Makes you wonder how long places like this can actually be in business before it all crumbles down.

My biggest issue as of late with them is their requirement if using only their phone app. The people who love it, really like it that way…but some areas I was in, and the amount of time it took to use it on vacant houses, no, I didn’t like it at all and rarely used it. It’s my understanding that if you want to do work for them now, there is no there way besides the phone app. They will always be in business because there will always be vendors and inspectors somewhere that are willing to jump through their hoops…
