Today, Many Homeowners Who Are Delinquent And/Or In Foreclosure HATE The Banks

I have performed many mortgage delinquencies in the past 21 years. Most of these mortgage inspections happened many years ago when banks were a little bit more friendly to their customers than they are today. Today, the banks have hired a lot of inexperienced and untrained office staff to work the phones in their servicing centers. Television, newspapers and the Internet tell many horror stories about banks. Delinquent homeowners and homeowners in foreclosure have come to hate the banks more now than at any time in the U.S.

InDesignScreenSnapz005Make sure that you understand the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Don’t expect to get a warm welcome when you knock on the door of a home and say that the bank asked you to pay a visit to them to collect some information. You are a field representative of the disorganized bank that always gave them the runaround. Good luck getting them to answer questions and provide information that they have already provided to the bank servicing center. Be polite … be alert … and be ready to depart the property quickly.
