“Being on the National Field Service Directory really does help. Shortly after I listed my information (which takes all of 5-10 minutes to do), I was contacted by some companies.  I was able to add a couple to my existing base after discussion that helped supplement my pay and also partly because of the directory, landed a commercial inspection gig that is excellent pay as well.

Just some 2 weeks ago, despite being a bit dormant/not updating for a while, I got another contact for doing residential vacant walk through inspections.  This is something I already do but this company pays much better!  So I picked up (so far) a few extra hits that were easy to work in and thus added a quick $150.

You have to keep putting yourself out there, and sometimes your area will help determine the amount of total work available, but being on the directory can potentially be a major tool to your success.  It only takes a few minutes to put yourself in.”
