Some of the field service firms hire area managers who bite a huge chunk out of the inspection fee BEFORE you get your cut. Daniel (not his real name) emailed me an inspection price list he received from an area manager for a regional residential insurance field services firm. The prices were very low … what you would expect to be paid about 30 – 40 years ago. We removed the regional firm from our National Field Service Directory as SOFI does not promote firms that pay low inspection fees.
