Safeguard Properties is SO BAD.
What’s worst is that they don’t know how bad they are. I hear more complaints about Safeguard than about any other firm in the field services industry. How do they get work from the banks? Do bank officials not read the newspaper or browse the Internet? The Huffington Post says Safeguard is being sued in 31 states by homeowners. The people of Illinois have a suit against Safeguard. Their legal costs must be tremendous. Safeguard says they have highly trained property preservation crews, but the news organizations report otherwise. The mortgage segment of the industry is out of control and getting worse every day. Who provides Safeguard’s insurance? When will they become un-insurable? Who is running the organization? Who is the damage control officer? Who is the training officer?
Are the news organizations unfairly picking on Safeguard? Can so many news organizations be wrong? Where is the Government? The Government needs to step in and provide regulation. Why are there no prosecutions for unlawful break-ins? What is happening to America? Why are homeowners being treated so badly? Why are there break-ins in homes that are free and clear of a mortgage? Why are there no prosecutions for unlawful break-ins?
Safeguard Properties has a huge problem. It’s time for some executive changes at the top! It may be time for Uncle Jake to retire. It’s time to restructure the whole organization. Safeguard Properties is the largest mortgage field servicer, but they are a very long way from being the best. Why are they so disorganized?
Now might be a good time to sell Safeguard Properties!
The mortgage segment is NOT the place to be. It is the home of the lowest inspection fees and 99% of all of the problems in the field services industry.

I STARTED WORKING FOR SAFEGUARD IN BKLYN NY IN 1990 THEY WERE GREAT 5 INSPECTIONS AND PAID ON TIME……..THEY GOT TOO BIG AND GREEDY AND SEE WHAT HAPPENED….THERE BKLYN GUYS SO CANT SAY TOO MUCH….THEY WERE GOOD TO ME……..JIM MAFFUCCI DBA ACE INSPECTIONS INC BKLYN NY.
They are a bunch of dishonest thieves now.you give them a bid, they approve it and then start cutting the Invoice with no evidence to substantiate the decrease in payment……thieves. will never work for them again.
