I am so proud of our World War II veterans. Without them we would be speaking German or Japanese. I served in the military for 20 years and I greatly appreciate their bravery and sacrifices. They stormed the war machines that wanted to take away our freedom.
They will also be known as a group of 90-year-old soldiers and sailors who said enough of this Government shutdown bullshit as they pushed over the barriers at the World War II memorial in Washington, DC.
Kudos to the our WW II veterans. We love you for what you stand for … now and forever.
