Be sure to keep your managers up to date on expected weather in your service area. Ask for additional time to complete inspections when the weather is expected to be bad. Explain to your customer in sunny California that Pensacola is being hit with a huge tropical storm on Saturday and parts of the mid-west received 44-inches of snow on Friday. Email them a copy of the local weather report for your area and ask for an extension on inspection due dates. Don’t wreck your vehicle and injure or kill yourself or someone else while traveling around in bad weather. It’s not worth it.

Don’t work for firms that want to put you in danger!

  1. Always key. I’ve found enough firms are OK with the weather to a degree, while others could care less. Well, even on those that I’ve encountered with such, I still did it late, or cared less if it got revoked for such. Not killing myself out there! 🙂
