The idiots in Washington have shut down the Federal Government. A lot of innocent people are being hurt. But, there are also a lot of people getting rich. Stock investors expected the idiots in Washington Government to frighten the world about the financial condition of the United States. Investors sold stocks or shorted stocks. Investors will win big when the idiots in Washington finally decide that they have to start the Government again. History shows that stocks rally significantly after a Government shutdown. Let the Government shut down … load up on stocks … and wait for the Government to get started again. The President and the Congress will not let the Government default on its debt. It won’t happen.

There are some great companies in the field services industry and there are some really ugly firms. Fortunately, the ugly firms are very easy to identify and they can be avoided. Avoidance is a great business tool. Don’t waste your time dealing with ugly firms. If you see a Yahoo Group post about an ugly firm, you need to avoid it. The principal of practicing avoidance will create success.

About 99% of the problems in the field services industry are in the Mortgage Segment of the industry. If you avoid the Mortgage Segment, you will avoid 99% of all of the problems. Some field service representatives will read that statement and not understand what they have read. In most cases, they will get what they truly deserve. The key to success is to ignore the bad neighborhoods … avoid them … stay out of them. Life can be so simple, yet some field service representatives like to make life so difficult.
