Inspector writes at a Yahoo Group:
“Ok – let me get this straight. Email from OnSource telling me they’ve had “tremendous business growth….more than 30 clients…..network of photo inspectors number more than 5000 and growing!” Yet they are informing that their default rate is dropping from $25 to $18 (+ mileage if over 10 miles). The reason is they have a slew of ‘new’ inspectors who are undercutting the veterans by $7. Well, I replied that given their ‘tremendous growth,’ they should be able to pay at least a flat rate of $35 and that $18 was not worth my time and effort since I could be using that time to earn more through another source.”
Another comment emailed to SOFI.
“Hi. I choose to maintain my minimum fee at $25. I think it is reprehensible to lower a fee of $25 to try to increase profit margins at the expense of field inspectors. The person responsible for this policy change should be ashamed of themselves. It sounds as if someone has gotten greedy.”
Life is all about making decisions. If you don’t like the way you are treated, then do something about it.
