Commercial And Insurance Inspections Is The Place To Hang Out

This is lots of light at the end of the tunnel … the bright light is commercial and insurance inspections.

Don’t let all of the bad things said at this blog about mortgage inspections confuse you.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. The commercial and insurance segments of the industry are the home of the higher quality firms that pay the higher fees.

  1. I love doing the insurance inspections and would love to find more of these to do and I’m also trying to learn commercial inspections.

    1. My area of California just seems not have much work in this section of the field unless someone else has it all sewn up! so Im stuck with the $2 and $3 inspections with Safeguard! : (

    2. I talked to an inspector in San Diego who was doing very well with commercial inspections. They are available.

  2. I am dealing with an insurance/commercial inspection company that I’m now getting rid of. The pay was reasonable, but they literally nit-picked on everything, training was non-existent and the software they use sucked. As someone who is on the road an awful lot during business/daylight hours, I don’t have the time to be on the phone with them for every inspection to check what form I need, why is this this and that that, what’s wrong with this, etc. Especially when I did request that email works good as I can read it quickly and what have you.

Is what it is, but I’m not sure I would recommend others to work with them….I say this in comparison to about 4 others I’ve been with before and their practices vs. this one.

Beyond that, in general, these do work…it may be you need 3 on board to get enough work and pay overall to make it worthwhile.
