It been a bad winter so far with lots more winter left. Field service representatives in many states need to add a winter weather surcharge to inspection and property preservation fees. Freezing rain and snow can be hazardous to your health and well-being.
When I was flying in the Navy I received combat pay and hazardous flight pay. The risks were much greater and I was paid for taking more risks. I risked my life. When the weather is bad, you need to ask for higher fees. You are risking your life. Traveling on ice and snow is very dangerous. Ask for extreme weather fees. Better yet … stay off of dangerous roads. Avoid the $3 mortgage inspections even on sunny days.
