Driving a Chevy Camaro on field service inspections is not such a great idea. Speed is not the feature you need … great fuel economy will put more money in your wallet. Franks says “I have a Prius C and normally get between 48 and 58 to the gallon.” Frank commented that on a hot day he can sit in the Prius C and complete forms between inspections with the air conditioning system running on battery and not gasoline, thereby being cool while saving more money. Just think … a $35 business verification (Unionville, VA $2.96 gas) will purchase enough gas to power a Prius C for over 600 miles.
Some credit cards provide for a 3% rebate on gasoline purchases. Sheetz offers 3-cents off a gallon on gasoline. Purchase gas with a credit car at a Sheetz station and are saving about 12-cents a gallon more at the pump. No Sheetz in your area … look for cheap gas with the GasBuddy application on your smart phone.
