New Jersey Inspectors Need To Ask For Higher Inspection Fees

The New Jersey field inspector is paid the same fees as the Alabama field inspector. Except for Hawaii and Alaska, inspection fees are relatively the same across the rest of the U.S.

The median real estate tax in New Jersey is $7,331. The median real estate tax in Alabama is $532. The inspection fees for New Jersey and Alabama are about the same. Inspection fees may actually be a little bit higher in Alabama because there are more rural areas in the state. Alabama is more than 50% rural and New Jersey is less than 10% rural. It costs more to live in New Jersey than it does in Alabama.

New Jersey inspectors are taxed at higher rates and they need to ask for higher inspection fees.
