Should A San Francisco Bay Field Inspector Earn Higher Inspection Fees?

This is an interesting chart. In 2014, it costs $650,000 for a 900 square foot home in the San Francisco bay area. It would make sense to me that San Francisco area inspectors have a higher cost of living and should be paid higher inspection fees than inspectors in other parts of the U.S. with the cost of housing is much less. What will $650,000 buy in the way of housing in your area?

Are San Francisco field inspectors asking for higher fees and pointing out the high cost to live in San Francisco?
