Do Full Time Field Inspectors Take A Vacation?

 A full-time field service representative emailed me and said that he had not taken a vacation in many years.

I don’t usually take long vacations myself. I attended the Melbourne, Florida airshow in October and made a trip to Disney Magic Kingdom this week. Both of these vacations were a one-day event while attending to other business in the area. I will make a one day visit to Busch Gardens in Tampa in January … again while attending to business in Tampa. These are both very short trips in the car. That averages to about 9 days of local area vacation a year in one-day increments … no airline tickets … no hotels. I can easily work that around my work schedule.

Do you take some time off and vacation every year? Or, do you work every day and never take any time off to enjoy a short vacation. I believe that most field serve representatives take some well-deserved vacation every year. Do you take some vacation days?
