No Name & No Phone Number In The Email

Why is this person with no name and no telephone number contacting me? What are they hiding?

I can’t believe that there are so many field service representatives in the industry that do not include their name or their telephone number in their emails. I have seen some emails where they include their name, but use use another person’s email address … email from John who uses Maryxxx@yahoo.com. Can you image someone transacting business with another person’s email address?

Hiring firm recruiters tell me that they trash emails from field service representative who do not include their full name or telephone in an email. I support that policy. They are not going to send them an email ASKING for their name and telephone number and waste their time. They simply trash the email. Provide a telephone number that leads to a full mail box and you will also get trashed.

Business people don’t want to waste their time with deadbeats with no name and no telephone number. Make “couch potato” or “morningjoy” as part of your email and you will also get trashed. Life is tough when you are stupid.

Don’t worry about competition in the field service industry. The higher quality firms that pay the higher fees want professional contractors that are proud to use their name and telephone number in every email. There don’t seem to be very many of these professionals around.
