Wendell is a field service inspector, Illinois farmer and a Marine. If Wendell doesn’t already have enough tasks to do every week, he also is part of a military honor guard that makes sure that hometown veterans receive a full military honors burial. Many of these veterans are homeless soldiers, sailors and airmen (both men and women). Last week, Wendel braved a minus 21 degree windchill as he said goodbye with full military honors to some of our brave veterans.
