It was just a few weeks ago that Google was reporting that the server of a mortgage segment member organization and a few mortgage Order Mill servers were hacked. The problems were acknowledged only by the websites being down for days as the problems were being remedied. No caution flags were thrown … there was no discussion … no alerts. Security broke down and that may have an impact on your privacy!
Security is a problem in the mortgage segment. Be sure to properly vett mortgage Order Mills and don’t provide sensitive information such as SSN and DOB before you get any work. Many mortgage Order Mill get your SSN and DOB and never provide any work. Your private information just sets on their server waiting for a hacker to come along. The mortgage segment is the home of 99% of all of the fraud in the field services industry. It’s probably best to avoid the mortgage segment. Security does not seem to be very tight.
