If you are a Veteran living in Florida, you can apply to have a V added to your Florida drivers license. Retire military have a retired ID card. Home Depot and Lowes will provide a 10% discount on all purchases when you show the license … at least in Florida stores. I have a retired military card which gets me the 10% discount. Today, at a Home Deport, I showed only my Florida drivers license with the V and received the discount. Many other facilities offer a discount to veterans and retired military personnel.
