China has a long-standing tradition in wood carving. For centuries, its chisel-wielding masters have been turning bland pieces of wood into awe-inspiring masterpieces, but none as impressive as the mind-blowing creation Zheng Chunhui. This talented Chinese artist spent the last four years painstakingly carving a detailed replica of Along the River during the Qingming Festival, a famous traditional Chinese painting, into a 12-meter-long tree trunk. The breathtaking beauty of his work simply cannot be expressed into words, you just have to see it for yourself.
China has now completed construction on the world’s largest radio telescope. The Single-Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) as it is known, is an enormous dish made up of 4,450 reflector panels with a diameter of a half a kilometer.

The above video was sent to me by a recruiter at a regional field services firm. She has traveled to China. Her comment was that maybe the United States is falling behind China in today’s world. She said she is having a difficult time finding field service inspectors who can hold a camera level when taking a photo and who can follow very simple instructions.
Richard, the flip side of her comment maybe should be this: maybe if the regional field service firms would stop reducing there fees, maybe we could afford to buy Chinese made cameras. I was paid more 10 years ago then what they pay now. I do believe that the cost of living today is much higher then it was 10 years ago, yet the fees keep going down. P.S. I wish I could go to China. Maybe they should reduce the salary of the recruiters?
After, by accident watching an IC P&C Inspector doing a building locally on the external phase I noted the Fire Escape was noticeably “BENT” and badly and if L&I had visited would have pulled the “C of O” for at least the 3rd floorKnowing one of the Shareholders I inquired how did the FE become “BENT”.Apparently, a delivery driver, using a rental 10′ box delivery truck drove up on the sidewalk as the street is extremely narrow to avoid an auto parked on his R. Failed to note FE and impaled box on lower horizontal ladder section.Organization waiting for Carrier to cut a check for repairs.Asked if IC commented and noted same either verbally or w/iPad-photo’s at any time during the closing interview. Response was “NO”. And nothing in the inspection letter subsequently delivered to the organization by the Carrier w other Rec’s. ? IC and P&C carrier’s LC/RM Analyst[s]?
