Everything is expensive in California … gas … income taxes … house prices … real estate taxes … mortgage payments … rent … and much more. But, California field inspection fees are the same as in Polk City, Florida. California field service inspectors need to ask for higher inspection fees. They need to have some “pocket ready” statistics that show how much more expensive it is to live in California. They need to plead their case for more money.
A new study shows that California public pensions are underfunded by $1 trillion dollars. Stanford University’s pension tracker database pegs the market value of California’s total pension debt at $1 trillion or $93,000 per California household in 2015.
