Crime … Sales Tax … Gas Tax … Beverage Tax … Four Reasons To Stay Out Of Philadelphia

The beverage tax on a $1.77 gallon of tea in Philadelphia was $1.92 cents. A customer at a Save-A-Lot on Woodhaven Road snapped a picture of a 12-pack of diet green tea and the price surge of what normally costs $4.99. It’s now $8.03.

Philadelphia has a 8% sales tax. The gas tax in Pennsylvania is the highest in the country and the added gas tax increase for 2017 is another 8-cents.

Why would anyone want to go into Philadelphia and make any type of purchase? It’s also cold in Philadelphia in the winter. The crime and taxes are outrageous.

Be sure to ask for a lot more money if you perform any field inspections in Philadelphia.
