I am really good. After 21 years in the field services industry, I can read a crystal ball. I can read emails and blog comments and determine where an inspector has been in the industry and where they are going. I can read emails and blog comments and determine the firm where the inspector is currently performing inspection tasks. I can tell if you are happy or sad. This ability to read a crystal ball also comes with a lot of stress as I see some inspectors doing all of the wrong things in their business. Hopefully, this blog will help steer you in the right direction. Common sense and mathematics is very important. Always price out every inspection or property preservation task, BEFORE you accept the task, to make sure that you will make a profit. Learn to say “Thank you for the offer, but I will have to decline as I will make no profit if I perform the task. But, I can perform it for ………”.
