Can you pass a 6th grade final exam? I took this 13 question exam and passed with a grade of A. I was a bit scared to take the exam as I wondered how I would feel if I failed the exam.
Most of my training came during my service in the Navy. I spend my first 18 months in the Navy training to become a Naval Flight Officer. I trained for 6 months in signals intelligence collection training at the National Security Agency (NSA). The Navy sent me to the Naval Postgraduate School for two years and the Naval War College for one year. I estimate that about 60% of my 20 years in the Navy involved some form of formal or informal training. Aviation training was important every day to stay current and to be better at handling any inflight emergency. I used the G.I. Bill while on active duty to obtain an FAA pilot license. The Navy also paid for a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Systems and a Masters Degree in Management Science. E-Systems paid for a MBA at FIT and graduate courses at GWU.
I have about 10 years of property preservation experience and about 22 years with field inspections. In the field services business I have both taken entry-level and mid-level courses in commercial insurance loss control inspections. I have applied a lot of my past training and experience to the field services industry. As an active Virginia licensed real estate broker, I have applied my real estate training and experience to field services. Every year I train as a real estate broker.
